Balsamic Vinaigrette

This is a simple salad dressing that is a staple in my salad repertoire. You can use it on any tossed green salad.

Yield: about 3/4 cup

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

Directions:

  1. Whisk first 4 ingredients in a small bowl to blend.
  2. Gradually whisk in olive oil.
  3. Season dressing with salt and pepper.
